Justine Kish is about a 3-1 favorite to Conquer Ji Yeon Kim at UFC on FOX 27 on Saturday night.
Kish is 6-1 in her career, but she’s coming off a loss to Felice Herrig in June of this past year, while Kim is 6-1-2 and coming off a loss to Lucie Pudilova. This battle is one of six to the FS1 section of the first card card, contributing up to a four-fight main card which features Ronaldo Souza vs. Derek Brunson. Let us look at Kish vs. Kim and UFC picks.

Justine Kish (6-1, 2-1 UFC)
Kish won her first four expert fights before she made her UFC debut in January of 2016. Kish won a unanimous decision against Nina Ansaroff and Kish followed up with a win over Ashley Yoder in December of 2016. The primary loss for Kish within her career occurred in June of last year, as she dropped a unanimous choice to Felice Herrig.
Kish will possess the home audience advantage on Saturday, as she fights in Charlotte. “It does make me a little nervous to know so many people from here will be coming to the struggle,” said Kish to the Gaston Gazette,”But, to tell the truth, it may be one person out there or even a million people and I’m thinking the identical thing. I would like to put on a good show every time.” Kish will be fighting in Charlotte for the next time in her career, as she battled Grady Cole as an amateur in 2007.
Kish stated that she’s been training with longtime coach Jeff Jimmo, to prepare for this struggle against Kim. “I typically don’t see a good deal of footage of my competitions,” said Kish,”But I have watched plenty of footage on her. We have analyzed it several times and I believe I’ll have a good strategy.”
Ji Yeo Kim (6-1-2, 0-1 UFC)
Kish was a pro since 2013. She struggled to two pulls in her first two pro fights and she’s 6-1 since. She has three wins by entry and two by knockout. She’s one first round end.
The line on this fight is surprisingly packed with Kish about a 3-1 favourite. I really do think that the move up in weight will help Kish, as she looked weak against Herrig and it is always pleasant to have the home crowd edge. Kim landed some shots from Pudilova in her UFC debut, but still lost a unanimous decision. I lean Kish in this fight, but I believe it will be a competitive fight and I am definitely not familiar laying 3-1 at a fight I think will be shut. I think playing with the rounds would be the better way to go. The rounds option is recorded at 2.5 with the more recorded at -260. Neither one of both of these fighters have much electricity, and I can not find either one obtaining a finish unless one of them makes a major error and gets trapped in a hold. I will take the rounds to cover the total.
